We also offer punch cards for drop-in classes for your convenience.

Note: Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes early the first week of each new session to register. For your convenience, you may read, print and sign our "Release and Waiver of Liability" form and bring it to sign up. Payment can either be made on the day of registration or if you prefer, there is the option to pay by PayPal (see top of this page) or Click HERE to pay via PayPal

Remember to bring proof that your dog's shot records are current and treats for training.

Keep your dog's toenails clipped REGULARLY to prevent damage to our special flooring. If you need help, ask your instructor or you can take your dog to a local groomer who will clip them for a nominal fee.

Any dog that has been adopted from one of our local animal shelters is eligible for one session of obedience classes at a 50% discount. Please bring proof of adoption and/or the certificate you received from the shelter to sign up.

Puppy Kindergarten

For Puppies Ages 12 Weeks to 5 Months

Our next class begins next Tuesday, October 13th at 6 p.m.

Instructor is Garnet Sarks

Puppy Kindergarten can give you and your pup a great start together!

It is an opportunity for a weekly outing with your puppy with the supervision of a skilled instructor to help you.

You and your puppy develop a working relationship that enables you to safely take the puppy out for other social experiences and continued training.

Bring your puppy's shot record to sign up the first week. All 12-week-old puppies should have received a minimum of two puppy shots with the second shot at least a week prior to the first week of class. Each session is six weeks and costs $100.00.

Don't feed your puppy his/her evening meal before class

Bring soft treats, collar and a 4' to 6' leash.

Don't forget to bring your pup's shot record (proof of 2 puppy vaccinations)

Potty your puppy before you leave the house to minimize 'accidents'.

Puppy Kindergarten:

Using "positive" reinforcement, learn to teach your puppy to:

Sit and Sit Stay

Down and Down Stay

Come when Called

Walk on a Loose Leash

Build socialization skills being around other puppies

Covers Basic Grooming and General Manners (jumping, bite inhibition, etc.)

Family Dog/Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class

Starting Monday, October 12th, 2026 at 6 p.m.

This class will work on Basic Obedience and control, to include

walking on a loose leash, sit, down, stand, stay & come when called.

If there's enough interest, students can work towards earning the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title on their dog:

CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

Dogs do not have to be purebred to take the CGC test. More details about the test can be found on our “Canine Good Citizen” link.

TRICK DOG CLASS

New Class will be starting:

Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

This class will cover Novice and Intermediate levels, as well as an introduction to Virtual Home Manners. Dogs should be six months old and have basic manners on leash. Please bring your shot records to the first class.

Melody will be teaching and testing tricks at the NOVICE and Intermediate Levels

AKC new titles for: Trick Dog and Virtual Home Manners.

The Novice Trick Dog test requires the dog to perform 10 tricks but a CGC title counts as five (at Novice level). Dogs with a CGC can quickly move on and work at the Intermediate title.

This is an introductory class so no prior experience is necessary, but it would be beneficial if the dogs already know basics like sit, down and work on a flat collar and leash.

NOTE: Melody is available to do "virtual testing" for your Trick Dog title and/or Virtual Home Manners

Novice Application

Conformation:

A handling class to train owners and their dogs in preparation for dog shows. This class is geared towards purebred dogs. Assistance for Junior Handling is also available.

Show and Go Classes will start up again on

$10 per Handler

Agility:

Agility is lots of fun for both the dogs and their owners. The dogs love it!

It involves going over various obstacles, through tunnels and over jumps.

NOTE: Dogs need to have basic obedience skills (sit, down, stay, coming when called and being controlled on a leash).

Proof of a current vaccinations and be at least 6 months old.

This class will resume in the Fall

Saturdays:

Starting at 10:00 a.m.

This class is open to dogs that know all the obstacles
